Virlo

Installation

Use an MCP client that supports streamable HTTP. Configure the server at https://dev.virlo.ai/api/mcp/mcp with Authorization: Bearer virlo_tkn_<your_key>. Claude Desktop, claude.ai, and Claude Code can connect via OAuth and mint a key automatically; Cursor, VS Code, and Windsurf require an existing API key.

Remote transport: streamable-http. No package targets are declared.

Capabilities

Virlo provides MCP tools for Content Research Agents, Satellite creator/video/sound intelligence, Tracking, Sounds, Trends, Hashtags, audience data, job polling, and credit balance lookup.

Async Behavior

Agent runs, satellite lookups, video analysis, and post collection are queued in the background. The server auto-polls briefly and returns a job_id if the work is still running; final completion is indicated by finalized: true.

Pricing

MCP uses the same pay-as-you-go credits as the REST API and adds no extra MCP fee. One-shot agents cost $0.50, recurring agents cost $0.50 per scheduled run, and reads are free.

Limitations

Orbit and Comet are legacy names for /v1/agents and are removed on August 3, 2026. search_keywords and create_niche_monitor require intent. Data intelligence adds $1.00. Some paid jobs can take 15-20 minutes and up to about 45 minutes for broad runs.
