Installation

Use the remote MCP endpoint at https://openclaw.direct/mcp.

Configuration

Authenticate with OAuth in a browser. Supported clients in the public docs include Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Windsurf.

Example Claude Code command: claude mcp add --transport http openclaw https://openclaw.direct/mcp

Capabilities

Provision, monitor, and control OpenClaw AI assistant instances from an MCP client. Documented actions include listing instances, provisioning new instances, health checks and usage, renaming and configuring instances, suspend and resume, and viewing subscriptions.

Limitations

This is a managed remote service, not a local package. It requires an OpenClaw Direct account and OAuth-capable client access. The public marketing docs describe the fleet-management features and example setup flows, but do not publish a full machine-readable tool schema on the pages reviewed.
