Installation

Use the hosted MCP endpoint at https://www.primitive.dev/mcp. The Primitive CLI, SDKs, and helper skills are documented separately, but this registry entry has no package target.

Configuration

The hosted MCP server uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code with PKCE. Primitive also publishes OAuth discovery metadata at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.

Capabilities

Primitive provides send, reply, list, search, inbox-status, account, domain, filter, and function-hosting workflows for email agents. It also supports managed *.primitive.email inboxes, hosted Functions, and x402 payment flows.

Limitations

The MCP endpoint is OAuth-gated. x402 payments are in invite-only soft launch. Inbound email content is retained until deleted, and credentials are organization-scoped.
