Installation

Connect an MCP-capable client to https://api.storiesonboard.com/mcp.

Configuration

This is a remote streamable HTTP MCP target. In the client setup flow, select the StoriesOnBoard workspace, authorize the connection, and then enable the tools you want to expose.

Capabilities

StoriesOnBoard MCP supports discovery, read, and write workflows across story maps, cards, personas, and releases. Documented use cases include turning PRDs or SRDs into story maps, backlog grooming, release creation, and release slicing for MVP planning.

Limitations

The MCP server is available on Standard, Pro, Plus, and Premium plans. It requires a StoriesOnBoard workspace and an MCP-compatible host such as Claude Desktop or VS Code/Cursor.
