Installation

Connect to the remote MCP endpoint at https://mcp.npledger.com/v1/.

Configuration

Hosted assistants such as Claude can connect directly with one-click sign-in. Developer clients such as Cursor and Claude Desktop should use a bearer token generated in NP Ledger under Settings  AI Agent Integration.

Capabilities

• Read organization summary, chart of accounts, fund balances, grant budgets, unpaid bills, transaction detail, and reports.
• Write access can record donations, in-kind contributions, expenses, bills, payroll, bank matches, and reversals.
• The assistant can return a dry-run before posting so a human can review the entry.

Limitations

• Read/report access is available on every plan.
• Recording transactions and advanced tools are gated by paid plans.
• Connections are scoped to a single organization.
• Tokens are shown once at creation time and must be stored securely.
