Installation
This is a remote MCP server; there is no local package to install. Before use, enable the Datastream API:
gcloud services enable datastream.googleapis.com
Configuration
Remote endpoint: https://datastream.googleapis.com/mcp over HTTP.
Datastream MCP uses OAuth 2.0 and IAM. Configure a Google Cloud identity, OAuth client, or agent identity with the Datastream Viewer or Datastream Admin role.
OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.
Capabilities
List, get, start, and delete streams; list connection profiles; inspect stream objects; poll long-running operations; and list static IPs for allowlisting.
Limitations
Preview service. API keys are not accepted. Custom redirect URIs are not supported. Security-sensitive routing and Model Armor behavior depend on supported regions and configuration.
