Installation
Use the Android Management API remote MCP server at https://androidmanagement.googleapis.com/mcp. There is no local package target in the registry record.
Configuration
To use this server, create or select a Google Cloud project, enable the Android Management API, and configure an MCP client for HTTP transport to the remote endpoint.
Prerequisites
- A Google Cloud project
- The Android Management API enabled in that project
- MCP servers enabled in the project
- IAM roles
roles/mcp.toolUserandroles/androidmanagement.user roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdminif you need permission to enable the API and do not already have Owner access- OAuth 2.0 / Google Cloud identity-based authentication
- API keys are not accepted
Supported Products
Android Enterprise solution sets supported by the Android Management API include work profile on personally-owned devices, work profile on company-owned devices, fully managed devices, and dedicated devices.
Capabilities
The MCP server provides tools for managing Android enterprise data, including enterprises, applications, devices, policies, and web apps. The documented MCP reference presents read-only list/get style tooling.
Limitations
This is a preview remote MCP integration. Access is restricted to commercial EMM developers, Device Trust solution providers, and OEMs under the Android Management API permissible usage policy. Quotas apply and the server does not accept API keys.
