Installation

Connect an MCP client to https://recompete.dropwatchhq.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP.

Configuration

No authentication is required for the MCP remote. REST API access supports ?key= or the x-api-key header. Useful request parameters documented on the site include naics, minDays, maxDays, gid, and incumbent.

Capabilities

The service exposes predict_recompete, expiring_recompetes, and lane_competitors through MCP. It predicts upcoming federal recompetes, incumbent advantage, likely competitors, confidence, base rate, and watchlist/webhook alerts.

Limitations

Predictions are probabilistic estimates from public award patterns, not insider information or guarantees. Pre-award factors such as price, key personnel, past-performance scores, and solicitation strategy are not modeled. The site states the service is not affiliated with the U.S. Government.
