Installation: connect an MCP client to https://aiapi.dropwatchhq.com/mcp over streamable-http; no local package install is required.

Configuration: the remote MCP endpoint exposes cheapest_model, price_history, status, and price_change_alerts. Premium MCP calls use x402 pay-per-call on Base USDC with a free preview on each call. HTTP /v1/* endpoints are available for scripts and use x-api-key for authenticated access.

Capabilities: live cheapest-model ranking, per-model price history, provider status, and price-cut alerts across 11 providers.

Limitations: prices are transcribed from public provider pricing pages and should be rechecked before relying on them; provider status may be unknown when public status pages are unavailable; premium calls require USDC on Base.
