Documentation
Installation
Use npx -y mcp-remote https://mcp.axiom.co/mcp for clients that need a local bridge.
Configuration
Remote clients can connect directly to https://mcp.axiom.co/mcp or https://mcp.axiom.co/sse.
If your client only supports the Authorization header, pass org-id on the URL.
Optional runtime query parameters on the hosted endpoints include org-id, max-age, and with-otel.
Capabilities
Axiom MCP Server supports tools for datasets, schemas, APL and MPL queries, dashboards, monitors, notifiers, metric browsing, saved queries, and prebuilt prompts for correlations, anomalies, baselines, exploration, and monitor health analysis.
Prerequisites
Create an Axiom account and at least one dataset. Remote OAuth access uses a browser-based authentication flow. Header-based auth requires a personal access token and organization ID.
Limitations
The hosted server routes query results through US infrastructure. MCP resources are planned but not yet supported. When using mcp-remote, credential state is stored in .mcp-auth and can be cleared to revoke access.
