Installation

Use the remote MCP endpoint at https://api.serff.ai/mcp in a supported MCP client.

Configuration

You need a Swallow / serff.ai account and the MCP credentials (User Keys) provided in the app or onboarding email.

Authentication

Remote access uses API-key credentials in the client connection flow. The registry metadata documents an X-API-Key header for authentication.

Capabilities

The server supports conversational search over SERFF filings, including semantic search, filing summaries, lineage and history exploration, structured rate-table extraction, and source-document retrieval.

Limitations

The surface is read-only. Public coverage documented by Serff.ai includes California filings from 2005 onward, and signed download URLs expire after 15 minutes. Some deeper extraction and download features are tied to paid plans.
